DWC have recently had the pleasure of participating in both the Targe and Claymore events where we ran 15mm ACW scenarios for Stones River and Peach Orchard respectively.

Recent events include a very successful Impetus competition held at our club premises, and participation in the World Wargames Championship at Derby.

Just the one at the moment. We are running a 6 player Babylon 5 campaign (ACTA2), details of which can be seen on the forums and in the Campaigns section of this site.

Where We Play

We meet on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month at the Civil Service Sports Association premises at Castle Road in Rosyth. Meeting times are from 12.00 mid-day to 10 o'clock in the evening which gives us ample time to play a couple of games or stage a large one. The CSSA has a bar, and very decent cheap beer and food so no-one will suffer malnutrition during the long march to victory (or defeat!)

If you wish to join us you will need to be 18+ due to the CSSC rules.
Contact one of us through the About Us page or post on the forum. We'll reply and provide more details faster than Darius ran from Gaugamela.....

Welcome to Dunfermline Wargames Club

Dunfermline Wargames Club was formed during pre-history and has been around in one form or another for longer than most of us can remember... Some of our members could quite easily slot into an army of Undead without anyone noticing. Others wouldn't be happy unless they were in command - such is the psyche of the wargamer! However we do have a mix of young and old that seems to mirror the hobby as it is today. The games we play are varied and extensive with many of the players being capable of playing any number of game types and periods.

Current favourites include but are not limited to: Impetus, Fire and Fury (Regimental), A Call to Arms 2, Uncharted Seas, Flames of War, Warhammer and 40K.

We like to think of ourselves as an open and helpful bunch that likes to talk. Although there are some we just cant keep quiet.... so be warned. We have a mix of casual and competition gamers but the club works well together in all respects (we just need to make sure the caffeine keeps flowing).

Big games are scheduled regularly and usually fall on the 5th Sunday of the month. Recent games include 40K Armageddon, 28mm ACW, and Flames of War. We tend to prefer these events to competition games within the club they tend to be more fun.

Check the About Us section of the site for details of where we are and how to get involved.
